ALAS is proud to kick off its special care campaign, "Un Respiro de Vida/ A Breath of Life," to protect and support our workers on the Coastside by providing FREE protective face masks for local essential workers. Our Farmworkers, Housecleaners and Essential Workers need PROTECTION during this challenging COVID-19 health crisis
The MAMAS of ALAS (parents of children participating in our Arts programming), under the guidance of ALAS Arts Director Zenon Barrón, are sewing protective face masks for our Farmworkers and others. Masks will be donated FREE of charge to our hardworking community out in the field. To support our project donate here:  bit.ly/alasmasks

Meet Our ALAS Respiro Team

Coastside Photographer captured photos of some of our team through their windows during COVID. As they shelter in place they are working hard to protect our community during this critical time. Together in the first month they have sewn over 3000 free masks to protect our local farmworker and essential worker community.

Stay tuned for more information, photos and videos of our project here!
