Farmworker Program & Outreach Director
Community Liaison, City of Half Moon Bay Councilmember

His work with ALAS started after Bay City Nursery closed its doors and more than 200 members of the community lost their jobs. Joaquin then started a program with ALAS (Labor Force Program) to connect community members with local jobs.  Joaquin has worked with the Coastside community for over 20 years.  His work in the community includes, Teacher in the Spanish Immersion Program, Migrant Education Program, CUSD Liaison, Co-Founder of the Latino Advisory Council of Half Moon Bay, Mentor for At-Risk Youth, Farm Worker Advocacy and Organizer. 

Joaquín Jiménez es el Enlace de Trabajadores Agrícolas / Alcance de Trabajadores Agrícolas.   
Su trabajo con ALAS comenzó después de que Bay City Nursery cerró sus puertas y más de 200 miembros de la comunidad perdieron sus trabajos. Joaquín comenzó entonces un programa con ALAS (Programa de Fuerza Laboral) para conectar a los miembros de la comunidad con trabajos locales.  Joaquín ha trabajado con la comunidad de Coastside durante más de 20 años.  Su trabajo en la comunidad incluye, Profesor en el Programa de Inmersión Español, Programa de Educación para Migrantes, Enlace CUSD, Co-Fundador Del Consejo Asesor Latino De Half Moon Bay, Mentor Para Jóvenes En Riesgo, Apoyo Y Organizador De Trabajadores Agrícolas.
