During COVID reduced hours and income has significantly affected our local farmworkers. Food and economic support during this crisis has been significant. Each week ALAS' team visits local farms to provide groceries and other resources needed. ALAS is also able to provide ongoing case management to connect workers to our mental health program counseling support, community engagement, immigration resources, medical insurance and triage to other critical resources. COVID has uncovered significant needs for a strong group of heroes working in our fields to care for all of us. We are committed to being a support for them through crisis and beyond.
