Alice Linsmeier

Board Member

Alice’s greatest teachers were the farmworkers in organized communities that she accompanied and worked with for several years in El Salvador. She has continued learning and working alongside farmworker and immigrant communities for the past 30 years in Latin America and the United States. Inspired by popular teachers in the community, she completed a Master’s in International Multicultural Education from the University of San Francisco and earned a Bilingual, Crosscultural Language and Academic Multi-subject (BCLAD) teaching credential. She currently works as a facilitator with farmworker leadership teams in Guatemala, Mexico, the U.S. and Canada.  Though she is always a cheesehead from Wisconsin, she lives in Half Moon Bay with her husband and two children.
